Cognizant is seeking a Data Scientist & Visualization Specialist to transform complex data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and compelling visualizations, supporting strategic decision-making for the Data & Analytics team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Spotfire report development and optimization.
- Proficiency in R scripting for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience integrating Spotfire with enterprise data systems.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and compliance standards.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain a knowledge base of methodologies and processes.
- Awareness of industry trends in data visualization and analytics.
- Ability to lead training sessions and workshops on Spotfire and R scripting.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize data visualizations and dashboards using Spotfire to support business intelligence efforts.
- Apply R scripting to perform advanced data analysis and build predictive models.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through best practices in data management and reporting.
- Lead integration efforts between Spotfire and other data systems to streamline workflows.

- Hybrid work model requiring 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) in a client or Cognizant office in Chicago, IL.
