CACI is seeking a Data Specialist to support the Interoperability Analysis Branch by conducting data processing, data validation, and event reconstruction of combat system and Tactical Data Links (TDL) datasets to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of critical operational datasets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data processing, cleaning, and validating large and complex datasets
- Foundational knowledge of tactical data links (TDL), including Link 16
- Solid understanding of data management and analytical principles
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving software tool issues
- Expertise in data characterization techniques
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, macros, pivot tables, and managing intricate datasets
- Competence in event reconstruction and/or track association using multiple system data sources
Responsibilities
- Support both land-based testing and fleet exercises by managing and processing of large tactical datasets, using NSWC Corona PA analysis tools
- Data cleaning, validation, and event reconstruction or track association to prepare datasets for thorough analysis.
- Work closely with the Interoperability Analysis team and must be proficient in troubleshooting data processing and event reconstruction challenges to maintain data integrity and support analytical objectives.
