Invesco is looking to improve the quality, integrity, and security of its sensitive data and information assets by establishing strong data governance practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management roles.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and tools.
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and metadata management tools.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor data quality and implement remediation processes for data issues.
- Collaborate with data owners, data product owners and custodians to ensure compliance with governance policies.
- Maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries.
- Support master data management initiatives to ensure consistency across systems.
- Oversee the lifecycle of key data assets, including creation, usage, archiving, and deletion.
- Ensure data is classified and handled according to regulatory and internal standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or related field.
