Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer with Data Visualization experience to support the Global Solution Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) program, focusing on testing End-to-End Visualization deployments within the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and the DOD Information Network (DODIN). The role aims to modernize DISA's operational mission through innovation and support for mission partners by ensuring the functionality and integration of data visualization tools in the AWS Cloud.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years with the ELK stack (Kafka, Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana) focused on integration testing and visualization validation.
• Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including end-user engagement and validation.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch APIs, Jira, Confluence, and Git repositories.
• Proven experience working in Agile development environments as part of cross-functional, fast-paced technical teams.
• Experience with big data applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with automated test frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and test automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Configuration as Code in AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Test tool functionality and integration within existing frameworks in the AWS Cloud.
• Analyze capability requirements and collaborate with technical leads, test managers, and Agile teams to ensure verifiable implementations.
• Define testable acceptance criteria in user stories and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate stakeholder requirements.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test data, test cases, acceptance criteria, and summary reports to support Kibana dashboards.
• Design and implement test strategies for data ingestion, processing, and visualizations in Kibana (React, JavaScript, HTML), including interface integration tests.
• Perform regression, integration, and verification and validation testing.
• Execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and manage defects through resolution using tools like Jira.

• Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Active Security+ (or other 8570-compliant) certification, or ability to obtain within a short timeframe.
• Strong deductive reasoning, attention to detail, persistence, patience, and creativity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
