CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator to oversee, optimize, and maintain critical database systems spanning both on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration required
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud database services
- Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting, exposure to dbatools
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages
- Experience implementing and managing data replication across data sources
- Familiarity with performance tuning tools and monitoring solutions
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and data security principles
Responsibilities
- The Database Administrator will oversee, optimize, and maintain critical database systems spanning both on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- The professional in this role will maintain and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases, including designing and implementing database solutions, applying upgrades and patches, database security administration, day-to-day operations, and backup/recovery processes.
- Additionally, this individual will monitor performance, availability, and security of databases and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- In this position, the Database Administrator will be responsible for collaborating with BI and development teams on schema design, query optimization, and indexing.
