Requirements
- Proven experience managing MS-SQL and Azure cloud databases
- Strong understanding of Power BI, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with AI/ML data preparation and governance best practices
- Knowledge of data security protocols and compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Enforce data standards, metadata management, and access controls
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data feeding into Power BI and AI models
- Design and maintain scalable data environments (e.g., data lakes, warehouses)
- Build efficient data pipelines to support growing datasets
- Optimize SQL queries and views
- Create indexed/aggregated tables for faster reporting
- Structure and preprocess data for machine learning and AI models

- Contract: 3-4 month contract with potential for renewal
- Work Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Location: Remote with onsite visits as needed in Kansas City, Missouri (U.S. based)
