The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) needs to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit its Academic Network, which is crucial for all teaching and instructing activities. This role supports the data warehousing and reporting system for this network.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing data warehouses, demonstrating successful implementation of complex data warehouse projects and experience with relational database design/modeling using tools
- Expert-level SQL coding/querying skills in SQL Server and/or MySQL and expertise in data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, or Teradata
- knowledge of ETL tools and methodologies
- familiarity with data modeling concepts (dimensional, star schema, snowflake schema)
- programming skills (Python, Java)
Responsibilities
- performing analysis, modification, documentation, and support of daily operations for the data warehousing and reporting system
- supporting the data development/sustainment lifecycle, including data profiling, ETL, and data model design and development/sustainment, testing, and support
- planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all Database Developer servers and applications
Other
- BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience or substitute with AS with 7+ years experience with any one of the following IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification
- Secret Clearance
