Yes Energy is looking to solve the problem of providing real-time visibility into the massive amount of data generated by the North American electrical grid daily, to inform real-time trading decisions and mid-to-long-term investment decisions that keep utility prices low, support the energy transition, and keep the grid running.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related experience
- 3+ years of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database architecture experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of database best practices
- Energy markets experiences is a significant plus
- Familiarity with SOC2 compliance
- Working knowledge of Liquibase, github and Jira
- Experience with integrating geospatial data is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Database Architecture & Development: Architect and design database tables to support new applications and optimize existing ones. Develop and maintain a variety of database objects, including stored procedures, views, and functions for Yes Energy's applications.
- Data Integrity & Quality: Actively monitor daily processes to ensure reliability, efficiency, and quality of data delivery. Take ownership of data integrity, quality, and completeness, with a focus on ensuring the timeliness of Yes Energy data.
- Data Migration & Systems Coordination: Plan and coordinate data migrations between various systems, ensuring a seamless and accurate transition of data.
- Process & Standards Contribution: Contribute to the development and implementation of technical departmental standards, including change control, configuration management, development methodology, documentation and coding standards.
