Noblis is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Database Developer to provide strategic guidance, technical leadership, and deep expertise in database design, management, and optimization across multi-enclave environments to support federal missions.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency with: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL) and query optimization
- Expert-level proficiency with: Stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex queries
- Expert-level proficiency with: ETL processes, backend reporting, and database automation scripts
- Expert-level proficiency with: Database performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Expert-level proficiency with: Log analytics and observability platforms, particularly Splunk
- Expert-level proficiency with: Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expert-level proficiency with: Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries, in support of application development
- Develop backend reports to meet user needs and provide actionable business insights
- Create custom scripts to automate database management processes and workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Maintain and evolve database schema, ensuring consistency, integrity, and alignment with application requirements
- Interface with customers, end-users, and developers to gather requirements, provide guidance, and support solutions
- Provide strategic guidance on database design, data modeling, and best practices
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data solutions in secure government environments
