RogueThink is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the availability, integrity, security, and performance of highly sensitive data environments while leading cloud modernization and enterprise data initiatives for mission-critical federal programs.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience supporting enterprise Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise relational database architectures.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, IBM Rational Data Architect, Visual Paradigm).
- Experience implementing secure backup, recovery, and continuity of operations procedures.
- Demonstrated experience optimizing performance of large-scale, mission-critical databases.
- Cloud database migration and modernization experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for enterprise database operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Architect, implement, and maintain highly available, secure database environments and associated storage platforms.
- Perform server and storage capacity planning for mission-critical systems.
- Lead database optimization, tuning, and large-scale data load and extraction efforts.
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based database environments.
- Perform database backups, restores, archiving, and disaster recovery operations.
- Design, implement, and enforce database security controls, access management, and auditing.
