Improve and customize browsing experience and analytics for Arch Capital Group Ltd.'s website and database infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SQL and scripting languages required
- Experience in PowerShell or shell scripting preferred
- Experience with data visualization tool Power BI a plus
- Azure SQL managed instances
- MongoDB on-prem and Atlas implementations
- Snowflake and Azure PostgreSQL as well as on-prem DB2
Responsibilities
- Manage database infrastructure and initiatives, migrations, upgrades, application database schema development, data replication and development program support
- Expand our SQL server database inventory system to incorporate other database platforms and enable dashboard views for all of our database infrastructure
- Work alongside Database Engineering team to develop the technical data gathering requirements as well as converting those to gathering processes and then developing PowerBI dashboards to present the data
Other
- Actively completing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Management of Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Security Degrees or relevant program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
- College level – Junior, Senior, or graduate student with graduation dates between December 2026 and May 2027
- Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner
