VAST Data is looking for a Database QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team to help build the enterprise software infrastructure for the AI era, focusing on capturing, cataloging, refining, enriching, and protecting massive datasets for real-time data analysis and AI training and inference.
Requirements
- Python is a big advantage
- Experience with Linux & shell scripting: Python, bash. - an advantage
- Experience in analyzing large and diverse systems, understanding QA processes and procedures
- Background in developing test automation infrastructure and/or automating tests on a combination of Linux and Windows servers
- Experience in testing databases - must
- Experience with AWS/GCP Cloud, Virtualization, and containerization infrastructures - Advantage
- A deep understanding of Computer systems / Operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows) - must
Responsibilities
- development of product testing, manufacturing, automation tools
- analyzing large and diverse systems, understanding QA processes and procedures
- developing test automation infrastructure and/or automating tests on a combination of Linux and Windows servers
- testing databases
- testing on AWS/GCP Cloud, Virtualization, and containerization infrastructures
- Test Definition & Execution in the following fields: Integration, Performance, Stress
- testing File Systems (NAS) / Block-level Storage / Databases / storage networking protocols
Other
- At least 3-4 years experience in development of product testing, manufacturing, automation tools.
- B.Sc./B.A. degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline – an advantage
- Passion in testing, self-learner, and highly organized
