LPL's integration and security challenges with DataPower X2 appliances
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience on DataPower X2 appliances secure integrations
- Strong knowledge on DataPower proxy implementations/Design, DataPower Administration, Appliances Initialization, Setup and Networking
- Experience with implementation on security (OAuth 2.0 / WS-Security / Authentication and Authorization / JWTs)
- Knowledge on DataPower Gateway scripts / XSL Transformations
- Good amount of knowledge on Protocols / Orchestration / Mediation / Encryption / Description
- Good knowledge on TLS Certs / Renewal / Coordination with teams to seamlessly upgrade in lower/production environments
- Good knowledge on CI/CD Dev Ops automations using (Team City / Octopus / GIT Actions / Terraform / Python / Ansible)
Responsibilities
- Provide innovative integration solutions and define common standard frameworks
- Drive through configurations of each domain/appliances and work with app teams on API cleanup
- Deep dive into error handling and troubleshooting knowledge of APIs
- Debugging skills to identify root causes and document production RCAs and Production Tasks
- Drive initiatives of LPL new Data Center DataPower and WMQ builds
- Partner with cross functional teams to define best routing patterns between/across multiple Data Centers
- Setup failover / HA on WMQ environments

- Good documentation skills to draft the strategies/migration plans/runbooks/knowledge articles etc using Confluence
