Patriot Machine, Inc. is looking to solve the problem of precisely finishing complex aircraft parts post-CNC machining to conform to blueprint specifications.
Requirements
- Knowledge of deburring procedures
- Ability to read machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments
Responsibilities
- Studies blueprint or layout on work pieces, and selects proper deburr equipment according to material, size and shape of work, and amount of stock to be removed, applying knowledge of deburring procedures
- Verifies conformity of finished work pieces by measuring dimensions with micrometers, calipers, or thickness gage, or by checking surface finishes with surface gages
- If not previously performed, cuts tooling lugs off work pieces using a band saw or cutoff wheel
Other
- Between 6 months and 1 year of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship
- Visual Acuity: Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts
- Applicant must be a U.S. Person
