Nokia is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining scalable and maintainable code for its telecoms networks, and is seeking a co-op to contribute to this effort
Requirements
- Solid awareness of development in a Linux environment
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript
- Experience or coursework using React is a plus
- Experience working with both compiled and scripting languages
- Python experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architecture/design discussions
- Triage, debug, and fix defects
- Contribute to positive organizational growth
Other
- Currently a candidate for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field at an accredited school in the US
- A team-oriented mindset and eagerness to contribute to a growing team
- Ability to iterate quickly, learn fast, and take initiative
