Deloitte is looking for Software Engineering Scholars to apply their engineering mindset to real-world software product development across diverse industries, progressing on a technical career path and developing practical skills in agile methodologies, DevOps, cloud-native development, and modern software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong foundation with Computer Science (CS) subjects such as Software Engineering, Software Development, Programming Languages, Data Structures, Algorithms Design & Analysis, Operating Systems & System Programming, or Computer Architecture
- Programming ability with at least one modern language like Java, C++, C-Sharp, Python as well as familiarity with object-oriented design
- Develop cloud-native applications using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, to streamline and automate software delivery
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) and integrate security best practices (DevOps) throughout the software lifecycle
- Use modern collaboration and version control tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Collaboratewithin agile scrum teams to design, build, and deploy scalable software solutions

- Continuously learn and adapt tonew technologies,and frameworks,often inahybrid work setting,as part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2027 in any STEM related discipline
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
- Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
