Collins Aerospace Simulation and Training Solutions (STS) division is seeking a Synthetic Environment Developer to create high-quality 3D content for immersive training environments, ensuring realistic, standards-compliant synthetic environments to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Experience in 3D modeling and texturing
- Strong visualization skills and understanding of synthetic environment requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for texture creation and editing
- Familiarity with Presagis Creator, Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender
- Knowledge of Substance3D for advanced texturing workflows
- Programming experience in C++, C-Sharp, or Python (especially with OpenGL/DirectX) is a plus
- Ability to create Photoshop scripts/actions
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and textures for synthetic environment databases
- Ensure all content adheres to defined visual and technical standards
- Interpret customer requirements and produce appropriate documentation and deliverables
- Manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
