Requirements
- Coursework related to structural analysis and design.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and a keen interest in structural design.
- Prior internship or coursework related to structural design is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of metal building systems.
- Create detailed CAD drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects.
- Assist in design revisions and optimization of structural components.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Contribute to project documentation and maintain accurate records of design changes.
- Learn and apply industry best practices for structural design and construction.
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Structural Design.
