BRG is seeking a Design Operations Manager to establish systems, processes, and workflows that support and scale design excellence throughout the organization, enabling designers to focus on delivering high-impact, user-centered solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with tools like Figma, Jira, Confluence, and Zeplin.
- Deep understanding of design processes and cross-functional product development workflows.
- Background in design or UX.
- Experience scaling operations in a growing product or design team.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Drive Operational Excellence: Streamline workflows, manage design tools, and build repeatable systems to support a high-functioning design team.
- Improve Collaboration: Facilitate smooth collaboration between design, product, and engineering by defining clear processes, rituals, and expectations.
- Design Systems Support: Partner with design and engineering to maintain and scale the design system, ensuring consistent usage and efficient updates.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Build and maintain design documentation in Confluence or other tools to ensure easy onboarding and cross-functional understanding.
- Hiring & Onboarding: Support hiring processes and create a smooth onboarding experience for new designers.
- Culture & Team Health: Help foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative design culture through team events, feedback loops, and process improvements.
- Metrics & Insights: Define and track operational metrics that reflect design impact, team performance, and workflow health.
Other
- 5+ years of experience in Design Ops, Program Management, or similar roles supporting design or product teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
