Axos Bank is seeking a Design Research Intern to help understand customer and user participation in financial activities, aiming to drive engagement and improve customer experience through innovative, technology-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Supporting the needs of various business units to deliver insights that drive engagement and improve customer experience in innovative ways
- Work closely with our research and UX leads to learn and demonstrate their ability before they’re asked to do these tasks on their own
- Take notes while another researcher moderates
- Become more independent by the end of the internship
- Research planning: Understanding the problem or question, defining hypotheses, then selecting the best methods to get answers
- Conducting research using a variety of methods
- Qualitative & usability studies: Identifying participant selection criteria, moderating interviews, notetaking during sessions
Responsibilities

- Identifying trends out of interviews, analyzing data
- Creating and giving presentations about the findings.
- Adding research findings to the research backlog

- Take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day.
- Interns choose between one of two sessions.
