Requirements
- Expert knowledge of design tools.
- Expert knowledge of UI design platforms.
- Working knowledge of prototyping tools.
- Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
- Previous exposure to Confluence, JIRA, and/or Contour to track issues in an Agile environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge in the following User Research techniques: Heuristic Evaluation, Affinity Diagrams, A/B Testing, Contextual Inquiries, and Persona Definition.
- Comprehensive systems thinking, UX concepting and wire-framing capabilities, Information Architecture and feature scoping skills.
Responsibilities
- Works on projects from inception to launch, performing tasks such as user research, requirement gathering, conceptual design (from low to high fidelity), interaction design, interface documentation and specification.
- Works independently and in collaboration with UX management and designers to produce multiple concepts and prototypes for both internal and external (customers) use, usability testing, and user data analysis.
- Collaborates with product managers on product requirement gathering and scoping, focusing on the overall user experience, ease-of-use, and efficiency of associated software applications.
- Works with the Product Development division to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and guides the interface through the development process.
- Designs and executes full cycle User Research and Validation studies; from planning, experimental design, session moderation, data collection and data analysis.
- Leverages rapid prototyping and customer interaction to make informed design decisions.
- Drafts detailed functional requirements for product development teams including graphical renderings, interaction pattern documentation and style guide creation.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a User Interface/User Experience designer focused on desktop and mobile applications.
- Ability to travel 20% both domestically and internationally
