Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Revit highly preferred
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
- Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas throughout the process
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices
- Portfolio should include well organized examples of design work during school as well as relevant finish palates, test fitting, working visualizations, and design documentation completed during internships or previous positions
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects to hone your skills in programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet the Clients’ needs
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
- Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Collaborate within our team structure to deliver the best work for our Clients
- Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture
- Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
- 0-5 years of interior design project experience
- Commitment to collaboration and mentoring
