Gensler is looking for a Designer to work on Retail and Financial Services firms and multi-site implementation projects in their Charlotte office
Requirements
- Knowledge of Construction Drawings, Codes, permitting, and construction administration
- Revit experience required
- Computer skills should include AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp
- Experience in retail for financial firms, multisite implementation projects
- Knowledge of Construction Drawings, Codes, permitting, and construction administration
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required
Responsibilities
- Provides solutions to design problems and generates design plans
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of constructions documents in alignment with retail guidelines
- Participate in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality control
- Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Reviews pricing, materials and customization for projects
- Provides design support for completion/execution of design concepts
- Ability to work fast and complete task efficiently and effectively
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited school required
- 0-3 years of experience
- Collaborative and team-conscious
- Self-starting, responsible, and highly motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills
