Peraton is looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, automated software delivery pipelines for the FAA's Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS).
Requirements
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including secure coding practices, automated testing, and compliance monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure, automated application delivery.
- Integrate security automation strategies into all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide governance and oversight of DevSecOps implementation across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure security controls, compliance, and monitoring are built into delivery processes.
- Automate the deployment and configuration of applications, services, and infrastructure using modern DevSecOps tools and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management solutions to ensure consistency and repeatability.
- Monitor pipeline health, application performance, and security posture to ensure operational resilience.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA.
- 10–13 years with a MS/MA.
- 7+ years with a PhD.
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
