As a software engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, the role involves performing DevOps activities in addition to individual contributor SW development activities to enable customers to successfully execute missions across all domains of operation.
Requirements
- Background in Task Automations (GitOps, CI/CD, Nightly Delivery, etc)
- Python and bash, and other scripting languages
- Familiarity with Containers (Docker/Podman/Kubernetes/EKS/LXC/etc)
- Understanding of SW engineering concepts
- Object oriented development
- Experience with Code Analyzers (SAST/DAST/Sonarqube/etc)
- Experience coding against Web APIs (REST/GraphQL/gRPC)

- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
