Merastar Insurance Company is seeking a Developer 4, Systems Software to provide technical support for multiple applications and system software technologies, resolve complex technical problems, and lead technical projects to improve the quality of project deliverables and guide teams on long-term solutions.
Requirements

- Guidewire Policy Center configuration & integration
- business process life cycles & systems in property & casualty insurance domain
- Gosu program. language
- cloud development with Guidewire Cloud
- modernizing & converting legacy systems to modern cloud-based systems
Responsibilities
- Provide tech. support for multiple applications & system software technologies.
- Develop, document, & execute unit test cases.
- Resolve complex tech. problems with assigned apps & work processes.
- Review & recommend test plans for impacted areas & ensure end to end test coverage.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes or propose new ones, to improve quality of project deliverables.
- Ensure reviews for quality of app. software designs to ensure optimal use of software systems.
- Lead tech. projects.
Other
- Must report to office worksite 2 days per wk.
- Must reside within MSA of office worksite.
- Bach. degree, or foreign equiv., in Info. Tech., Software Eng. or related field.
- Will accept a Bach. Equivalent based on combination of education as determined by professional evaluation svc.
- Up to 5% short-term domestic travel may be involved to attend industry conferences.
