The Bank is looking to solve technical problems related to Data Engineering applications and Data integration pipelines
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data platform design, and data warehousing principles.
- Experience in developing data warehouse solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of database platforms and application design.
- Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure management.
- Experience in data technology and delivery across multiple platforms (eg: Snowf lake, Netezza, Collibra, Oracle).
- Experience with Data Movement & Consumption (Eg: ETL, ELT, dbt, DataStage, Informatica, Denodo).
- Excellent understating for Data consumption & reporting techniques.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership - Mentors and trains team members. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters.
- Project Management - Leads specialized technical projects to include development of time estimates, determining scope, and addressing potential impacts.
- Data Integrations - Collects data related to business requests and determines scope, time estimates, and system impacts.
- System Enhancement - Leads team efforts to evaluate and improve Data Engineering systems, processes, and applications.
- Designs modifications that fit within existing system architecture.
- Trains less experienced associates and assists management in monitoring team performance.
- Collaborates with peers, managers, and cross-platform teams to align projects and tasks with wider organizational goals.
Other
- 8 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering
- Ability to lead & mentor technical teams towards success.
- Outstanding presentation & communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate complex processes/situations to executive leadership.
- Ability to maximize data-based value additions for key business units.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define new data needs.
