HCSC is looking to enhance their API Security and Reliability efforts by hiring an API Developer to support Product Engineering and various Product Lines with a focus on Product Enablement, Self-Service capabilities, and Governance within the API Platform Technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in scripting languages (BASH / PYTHON )
- Experience in application / product feature design
- Experience in service oriented architecture (SOA)
- Experience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS)
- Experience in application configuration
- Rapid prototyping
- SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development)
Responsibilities
- enabling the Enterprise API Platform team and Product Engineering to enhance their API Security and Reliability efforts
- serve as an API Developer in the same federated model as the rest of the API Team
- supporting all Product Lines with a focus on Product Enablement, Self-Service capabilities, and Governance in the API Platform Technologies
- work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering Service Managers, IT Product Managers and architects of every discipline
- Experience in scripting languages (BASH / PYTHON )
- Experience in application / product feature design
- Experience in service oriented architecture (SOA)
Other
- Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
- Possess ability to sit and perform computer entry for entire work shift, as required.
- Possess ability to manage workload, manage mutliple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable.
