KRESA is seeking a Developer to enhance and maintain its in-house applications and Salesforce platform, ensuring efficient data management, system integrations, and compliance with educational privacy laws.

Requirements

  • Experience with programming languages such as C-Sharp, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with web application development framework such as ASP.net, Blazor, MVC
  • 2+ years of application programming in multiple languages preferred
  • Experience with information systems such as ERP, SIS, and CRM preferred
  • Microsoft, AWS, and Information Security certificates are preferred
  • Maintain up to date Salesforce certification

Responsibilities

  • Develop new functionality and expand current functionality in Salesforce
  • Assist with the ongoing development, support/maintenance, upgrades and enhancements of in-house applications
  • Participate in the software development process including design sessions, providing project status, go-live support and training on new functionality
  • Develop forms, processes and reports as needed
  • Build wireframes and/or prototypes to determine feasibility when warranted
  • Use and maintain integrations with the Michigan Data Hub platform
  • Ensure the information security of Salesforce and other developed systems

  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and management as needed
  • Ensure proper data governance protocols are in place and in compliance
  • Comply with HIPAA and FERPA and district data sharing agreements
  • Work with staff to ensure application integrations are operational and data errors are resolved
