Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Plano, TX, to support and maintain AWS infrastructure, automation, and application support.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud automation, and containerized deployments in EKS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Java microservices, databases (MongoDB, RDS, Oracle), and integration tools like MuleSoft and Kafka.

Responsibilities
- Support and maintain AWS infrastructure, networking, and cloud automation to ensure platform performance.
- Independently provide application support, including coding, testing, debugging, and deploying applications.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Java microservices, Spring Boot applications, and containerized workloads in EKS clusters.
- Manage and support databases such as MongoDB, RDS, and Oracle.
- Resolve issues across cloud services, including MuleSoft, Kafka, and various AWS components (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Utilize automation tools and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for infrastructure and application tasks.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years in cloud infrastructure and application support.
