GovCIO is looking to solve the problem of supporting their client's contract needs by hiring a Developer to build and maintain modern web applications
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with Java and Angular
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, and common Java libraries
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST API development
- Proficient in building and maintaining modern, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and HTML/CSS
- Ability to analyze legacy ADF applications and map features to modern Angular equivalents
- Proficient with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM
- Experience deploying Java and Angular applications on AWS
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modern, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and HTML/CSS
- Analyze legacy ADF applications and map features to modern Angular equivalents
- Development of Java Web Application, Web Services, HTML, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, and SOA related architectural code
- Design of Oracle database schemas and implementation of Java ORM
- Installation and configuration of WebLogic Application Servers
- Develop RESTful APIs
- Development and enhancements of existing Java-based web applications
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
- Must be able to acquire and maintain Suitability/Public Trust clearance
- Self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience converting applications from Oracle ADF (JSF-based) to Angular-based front-ends
- Background check, to include: Criminal history (past 7 years), Verification of your highest level of education, Verification of your employment history (past 7 years)
