Akkodis is seeking a Developer to build scalable backend systems using Kafka and Spark and manage data modeling and streaming pipelines for a client in Bentonville, AR.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala, with hands-on experience in building streaming and microservices architectures using Kafka and Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), data modeling, and integration tools like Automic or Airflow.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java, Python, or Scala, with a focus on microservices and streaming data.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Spark, and integration platforms such as Automic or Airflow.
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage applications and services.
- Model and migrate data across systems, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Ensure high standards of code quality and system performance, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
