Akkodis is seeking a Developer to design and develop RESTful APIs and build scalable, distributed systems across cloud platforms for a client in Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, including at least 6 years with Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (8–17), Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working knowledge of databases like MongoDB, Couchbase, and PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, ensuring high performance and reliability across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and testing processes, contributing to continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and tools, applying them to optimize development workflows and product capabilities.
