Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract role to design and deploy scalable backend services, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize database performance for a client in Minneapolis, MN.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in backend development using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining microservices in AWS environments (EKS, EC2, S3).
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and database optimization using Oracle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
- Deploy and manage microservices in a cloud-native environment, particularly on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3).
- Write and optimize stored procedures and SQL queries in Oracle DB for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues, implement hotfixes, and ensure system stability across environments.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Veracode, and Sonar.
