Akkodis is seeking a Developer to architect scalable solutions in Kubernetes environments on GCP or Azure for a client in Bentonville, AR.
Requirements
Proven expertise in building reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and deploying them in Kubernetes on GCP or Azure.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, performance tuning, and database design using SQL/NoSQL technologies.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java, Scala, or Go within a reactive architecture.
Deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes ecosystems on public cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
Architect cloud-native, distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement robust testing practices using tools like JUnit and Mockito to ensure high test coverage and maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure disciplined development practices including code reviews, documentation, and performance tuning.
Design and optimize data models using SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, and Azure Cosmos DB.
