Requirements
- Experience with Open Source Communities
- Past experience managing Slack or other virtual communities
- Active in social media with good following in an relevant community
- Past experience working with B2B SaaS startups
Responsibilities
- Develop the DevRel strategy, processes, and tech stack
- Build and nurture a thriving community of developers both online and offline
- Represent Yugabyte at industry events, lead demos, and produce technical content
- Produce content(demos, blogs, webinars), both live and recorded, to increase feature/product awareness and build community
- Ensure that developer-facing content is top-notch and impactful
- Foster strong relationships with key technical stakeholders to grow the community at scale
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years professional experience in developer relations and scaled programs from the ground up
- Passionate about the latest trends in the database and cloud infrastructure market
- Strong curiosity about understanding new technologies and adept at conveying their value to business executives and software development leaders
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- You have a proven track record of driving growth and success in previous roles
