K&L Gates is looking for a Developer II to join their Information Technology Department to support their customers and service offerings by developing and maintaining applications.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience working for a professional service organization with development work in C-Sharp and .NET Framework.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience demonstrated knowledge developing applications on Microsoft Windows web servers, focusing on IIS.
- A minimum of 4+ years of demonstrated knowledge working with Microsoft SQL integration with custom developed application.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience with developing and understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with writing technical documentation, including application diagrams and training materials.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience with developing with Angular and Model View ViewModel (MVVM) frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Self-learn application/software issues and troubleshoot to determine root cause with minimum supervision or additional support.
- Provide level III support for escalation queue of firm applications following and/or documenting processes and knowledge in a service management system ensuring a timely resolution for the customer.
- Develop in a Windows / Microsoft environment, this includes using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Azure DevOps for source control.
- Interpret user requirements in the form of User Stories and detailed User/Application requirements document used in the SDLC and Application Lifecycle Management [ALM] processes.
- Practices and follows enterprise coding standards, requirement gathering practices, utilizes source control, and documentation standards.
- Leverage external and 3rd party vendors of supported and assigned applications to drive resolution for customer support issues.
- Provide technical guidance to lower level Developers on the team and mentor them as needed.

- Must be available to serve in an on-call rotation
- Must be able to self-manage workload, project tasks, ticket queue, troubleshoot applications, and track time.
