Expeditors is looking to solve complex logistics problems such as freight scheduling and optimized routing by designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions within their domain engineering group.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Experience with SQL and relational database concepts
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Experience with Java tools and frameworks: Maven, JUnit, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions within our domain engineering group.
- Builds reusable services that solve complex logistics problems such as freight scheduling and optimized routing.
- Contribute to architectural decisions.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Drive continuous improvement in development practices.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.
