The 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund is looking to solve the problem of designing and developing new web-based applications and enhancing existing applications to meet customer requirements and needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of solid development experience in building and enhancing applications and services using .Net 6.0/7.0/8.0, Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
- Strong experience in building and enhancing SQL server stored procedures, deploying and testing in various environments
- Experience in C-Sharp.NET 11.0, ASP.NET Core 8.0, ASP.NET Core MVC, building web services, REST Web API, and React Native for Mobile
- Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI design using Bootstrap
- Experience with Dynamics 365 customization and integration
- Familiar with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like TFS or Azure DevOps
- Experience in writing unit tests to have 100% coverage, building automated test scripts (ATDD), load testing, and releasing them in production
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and development of new web-based applications and enhancement of existing applications
- Develop and optimize database programs to support development during all project stages
- Understand and translate customer’s requirements and needs into technical solutions
- Translate knowledge from user interaction to generate and maintain proper documentation
- Participate in weekly meetings and communicate day-to-day with users to compile comprehensive requirements information and provide recommendations and solutions
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of software development and testing experience required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to establish and meet target dates; must be able to multitask effectively and handle multiple development projects
- Ability to build strong relationships with various internal and external sources, including business owners
