Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) needs to deliver and maintain its Injection Molding program.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience operating injection molding machines.
- Seven (7) years of experience operating injection molding machines.
- Familiar with injection molding machines, mold changes, and setting up mold cooling lines.
- Familiar with basic functions in Microsoft Office.
- Produce injection molded parts with a variety of different thermoplastics.
- Develop process sheets for injection molded parts.
- RJG Master Molder 1 and 2 certifications.
Responsibilities
- Delivering training content and lab activities through in-person instruction.
- Maintaining appropriate course material, lab inventory, lab safety and maintenance, and lesson planning.
- Tracking student progress and maintaining records.
- Lead the delivery of lecture and lab material to students.
- Develop new course work for injection molding classes.
- Edit existing course material to reflect current industry standards.
- Maintain injection molding presses and lab space.
