The development foundation behind the first parallelized Layer 1 blockchain needs a Developer Relations Engineer to act as a bridge between the core engineering team and the global developer community, aiming to empower developers and foster a vibrant ecosystem.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with Solidity is a must; familiarity with YUL and Vyper is a plus.
- Experience with Ethereum clients (e.g., Geth) and adjacent infrastructure.
- Familiarity with common development tools like Foundry, Hardhat, and Wallets.
- Experience with programming languages such as Rust or Go.
- 2+ years with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with EVM indexers and dApps.
- Experience with AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Cursor).
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and understand best practices.
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical resources, including tutorials, sample code, comprehensive documentation, and blog posts to guide builders.
- Actively participate in developer communities across platforms like Discord, Telegram, and GitHub, fostering a collaborative environment and addressing questions.
- Systematically gather insights from the developer community to directly inform the core product roadmap and improve the overall developer experience.
- Collaborate with external partners and projects to expand the blockchain's reach and adoption within the broader ecosystem.
Other
- Proven experience as a Developer Relations Engineer, Technical Support, Protocol Integrations, or Software Engineer within the crypto space.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and growing developer communities on platforms like Discord and Telegram.
- Must be based in NYC or able and willing to relocate to New York City.
- Active participation in open-source projects, especially within the blockchain space.
