Requirements
Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
Experience with cloud development
Experience with APIs, batch jobs, cloud services, and automation
Knowledge of secure software and systems engineering practices
Experience with DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques
Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
Build and maintain cloud-based solutions that connect AWD with other applications
Craft new software applications or modify and/or support existing packaged or custom-built applications
Other
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree
Two or more years of analysis and technology experience
Ability to thrive in a team environment

On-call responsibility after normal working hours and/or on weekends
