Tenneka is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated individual to help them advance existing and planned energy project development opportunities. This position is designed to provide an intern exposure to work within interdisciplinary energy project development teams comprised of project and business development professionals, engineers, environmental scientists and financial and market analysts. This work occurs in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where creativity and a thorough understanding of complex energy project development challenges are required to provide innovative solutions for the company’s stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of development plans, including detailed schedules, budgets and major decision points
- Preparation of detailed economic proforma and valuation models
- Preparation and review of financial information for completeness and accuracy for use in analyzing complex development opportunities
- Support pricing analysis and bidding strategy to originate revenue contracts for traditional renewables (solar, battery storage and wind), carbon capture & sequestration and natural gas-fueled generation projects under development
- Identification of issues which may impede successful development, identification of potential solutions and reporting of issues and solutions to management
- Work with other development team members to foster relationships with local landowners, politicians, regulators and other project constituents to garner support for and minimize opposition to development projects
- Communication with senior management on the results of activities and analyses

- Significant progress toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
