LSU is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise software systems and infrastructure by hiring a Development Operations Administrator.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Version Control software (Github, Azure Repos, BitBucket)
- Experience deploying applications to testing and production environments
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Develop and maintain system and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies
- Work with development teams to integrate applications with infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for critical issues, including on-call rotation when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows, Linux, Hyper-V) and storage systems.
