Facebook Reality Labs is looking to develop and launch industry-leading AR/VR Products, and needs a Device Technical Program Manager to lead a cross-functional core team through the Product Development Process.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience as a technical program manager, leading consumer electronics device development across both hardware and software, with a track record of shipping devices on time
- Experience in process definition/improvements, program management, tools
- Experience in team leadership, decision making, and presenting to groups
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional core team spanning hardware, software, core technology, content, operations, marketing, legal, and finance
- Own the program schedule from pre-concept through launch, managing the delivery of key program milestones
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the program
- Proactively identify and drive resolution of critical program risks/issues
- Manage cross-functional dependencies
- Establish best practices along with key performance indicators to ensure success
- Distill complex topics into clear communications to program stakeholders
