Requirements
- Scripting/coding skills (i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards)
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
- Experience leveraging Ansible Automation Platform or equivalent tools for Configuration Management and System Automation solutions
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code automation and delivery tools like (e.g., Terraform)
- Centralized Log analysis and troubleshooting using Azure-native tools and third-party solutions like Splunk or ELK
- Proven experience managing VMware vSphere management experience and working with systems in a highly virtualized environment
- Experience managing infrastructure in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals and security principles
Responsibilities
- Provide support and maintenance of FHLBI’s operating systems and underlying infrastructure in a hybrid Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures, technical standards, reference architecture, and logical diagrams
- Automate and manage Cloud Infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management automation platforms
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated provisioning of resources using infrastructure as code and config management automation tools
- Participates in and supports capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and IT department managers
