Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to support our impactful SITE III JIOC contract, to make a difference by supporting critical applications for Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations.
Requirements
- Programming Language Experience including – but not limited to – Java, Python (Poetry, Flask, etc.) and JavaScript (emphasis on React ecosystem libraries)
- AWS technologies: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB
- Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker
- Current 8570 IAT Level II or higher cert such as CompTIA Security+ CE for Privileged User Access (PUA)
- Experienced in agile software methodology and DevSecOps principles.
- Proficient in scripting and automation with Open Source and COTS tools.
- Skilled in using development tools like Java, Gitlab, Git, and Junit.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a Scrum team to develop and enhance enterprise systems.
- Apply best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps.
- Automate testing and integration using Open Source and COTS tools.
- Develop and integrate bug fixes and new features using tools like Java, Gitlab, Git, and Junit.

- A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 10+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 6 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph
