The intelligence community is looking to build a system that will have a positive impact, and Booz Allen is seeking a DevOps engineer to help streamline the software development life cycle in a multi-cloud Kubernetes environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity
- 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
- 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications, including AWS
- 3+ years of experience with deploying to and managing applications within Kubernetes using Helm charts
- 1+ year of experience in writing IaC with Terraform
- Experience with developing multi-tenant enterprise cloud-native solutions
- Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming, including in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang
Responsibilities
- Streamline the software development life cycle in a multi-cloud Kubernetes environment
- Support the building and maintenance of a DevSecOps pipeline using the latest open source technologies
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate everything from configuration management to infrastructure provisioning
- Work with the team to bring other organizations on board with DevOps and champion the adoption of related processes, tools, and roles
- Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
- Develop, deploy, and manage cloud applications, including AWS
- Deploy to and manage applications within Kubernetes using Helm charts
Other
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with DevOps, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with DevOps
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Must be on camera during interviews and assessments
