DDN is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and manage their dedicated benchmarking and ISV lab environments, ensuring reliable and secure access for high-performance benchmarking, AI workloads, and ISV testing.
Requirements
- Linux system administration
- Networking (routing, subnets, firewalls, VLANs)
- Virtualization (KVM, VMware, or similar)
- Containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Hardware troubleshooting (x86 servers, switches, cabling)
- shell scripting, basic automation, and infrastructure management tools
- storage constructs (RAID, NFS, LUNs, object stores)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a fleet of Linux-based servers, including provisioning, monitoring, and patching
- Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) and containers (Docker/K8s), supporting diverse benchmarking workloads
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including IP address management, routing, VLANs, and firewall rules
- Set up, maintain, and optimize storage systems, including object, block, and NFS
- Coordinate and manage secure user access to lab systems and software environments
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ISV testing, performance benchmarks, and development efforts
- Own lab health, including hardware lifecycle, physical troubleshooting, and environmental monitoring
Other
- occasional travel to Colorado Spring Office for onsite system access and maintenance
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex systems, and manage multiple priorities
