Northrop Grumman is seeking a DevOps Engineer/ Principal DevOps Engineer to support programs at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, with a focus on developing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with OCI-compliant container technology and tools (Docker, Podman, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines
- Able to obtain IAT Level II certification such as CASP+ or Security+ within 3 months of hire date
- Kubernetes related certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), KCSP (Kubernetes Certified Service Provider)
- Experience with managing Kubernetes applications with Helm charts and ArgoCD automated deployments
- Familiarity with OIDC Authentication and OAuth 2.0 Authorization with Identity Management Applications, such as Keycloak
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Support a production environment on site at NASIC/WPAFB once properly cleared to support mission critical needs
- Play a pivotal role in development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Work with GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related DevOps technologies
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD technologies
- Develop automation techniques that improve deployment speed and service reliability in the containerized environment
- Hardening, securing the Kubernetes cluster with monitoring and auditing dashboards

- Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and demonstrate knowledge of Agile principles and practices
